Installed on a Schwinn touring bike which I ride in neighborhood daily ~20 miles. Quality plastic materials. Mirror is clear glass. I mounted inside of the brake and shifter on left handlebar and it still extends well out to the end of the grip. I can comfortably see two lanes of traffic and much of the area behind me. Mirror is adjustable but stays put even on bumpy road surface.
I have a mountain bile with a 23 1/2 in handlebar. Because of the way the grip, gear shift and brake are positioned I have to mount the mirror 7in in from the end of the handlebar. In that position I get a clear view of cars that are 3 feet to my left from about 20 feet behind me. For cars that are further out I can see then from further back. The mirror is sturdy and gives a clear, good-size image.
I bought two so I get a great rear view. I park the bike in the garage right next to the wall. people have to walk between the bike and the car so space is at a premium. I rotate both mirrors forward so they don't interfere with the wall or people passing by. I love them!
A movable swing arm projects this mirror up and out for a clear view past my arm. The convex of the glass is perfect, not too much (view is not warped), and the "blued" glass is crystal clear. The mount is very tight and secure (will only fit standard diameter handlebars). For tight spaces, storage, or hauling the arm can be swung inside the handlebars. I think the design and construction is the best I've seen (made in Taiwan but looks like European work).
Great quality looks clear, super easy to install and will hold on no matter how bumpy it gets and very stylish, Looks like it was custom made for the Lectric XP
I really needed a sturdy mirror with good optics that did not stick out farther than my handlebars. Well, it's sturdy. And the optics are great. It doesn't stick out farther than my handlebars. BUT... it took me two months before I realized I could angle the darn thing to be able to see everything I wanted to. Sheesh!
